Celebs Mourn AM's Death Via Twitter.

First off, Im still in shock, and now Im even more upset that I missed his and Jazzy Jeff's show. But hey, thats what ipods are for, right? It's crazy how fast the word spreads.

Many celebs expressed sympathy about the late DJ through tweets:

The Roots' Quest Love: "AM???!!!! WTF!!!!!!!....It's one thing to lose a teacher I never met. But it's some other sh*t to lose a teacher I knew."

106 and Park's Terrence J: "They say The good die young. Rest in peace AM. May God bless you"

Lindsay Lohan: "i can't believe this.. i'm in shock. why? why? r.i.p. adam"

Paris Hilton: "Adam and I were friends since I was 15. He had a heart of gold and was one of the kindest, funniest and most talented men I have ever met."

Cassie: "In shock about AM, he was really a great person. My love and prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP."

It's something how a person can touch the lives of so many people. Like is so short and death is so random these days. 2009 will be a year to remember.

Nicole Ritchie hasnt tweeted anything, as of yet but sources say she is very shocked to hear about the passing of her ex-fiancé. The two were engaged in 2005.

Wow, first her godfather [Michael Jackson] and now her ex-fiancé. My prayers go out to her, his family and his friends.
